ALL-IN-ONE is an innovative system that allows multiple quality control inspections to be performed with a single machine. In particular, detecting micro-holes in-line plays a crucial role for the company, as it is not uncommon for fats naturally present in cured meats to settle in the sealing area of the packaging, causing micro-holes that lead to rapid product deterioration. Once on the shelf, spoiled products are immediately noticeable by the end consumer, raising concerns about product quality and often attributing the deterioration not to packaging errors—of which the buyer is often unaware—but to the inherent quality of the cured meats, causing significant economic and reputational damage to the brand. The customized configuration of ALL-IN-ONE for Fumagalli Industria Alimentari includes in-line micro-hole detection technology, X-Ray inspection, and checkweigher, with a reduced footprint of just 2 meters in length.
