Label Inspection for any type of container – IE6000

IE6000 is the definitive solution for inspecting labels of any type (front/back, wraparound, sleeve and collar, opaque or partially transparent) on containers of any shape (round, square, rectangular, oval base, etc.), oriented or not.

With this system, it is therefore possible to inspect on the same line products that are profoundly different from each other, alternating production batches of containers with a square base and batches of cylindrical products.

Depending on the product’s characteristics, the system will activate the most suitable cameras.

In the case of cylindrical containers, the four cameras at the inspection chamber’s corners capture as many images. Leveraging artificial intelligence, the vision PC autonomously identifies the bottle and automatically reconstructs a 360° 3D model of it. The software positions the acquired images of the labels on the model and virtually unrolls them onto a plane, correcting distortions caused by surface curvature and achieving an extreme level of precision.

When the product has a non-cylindrical base and is oriented, 6 cameras are used: four at the corners for 360° inspection of the label on the neck of the bottle, and two on the front and back for inspection of the labels on the body of the container.

Our label inspection for cosmetic covers a wide range of needs: verification of label presence, positioning, and integrity, as well as the ability to read codes using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. The emboss detection option is also available, thanks to artificial intelligence, which identifies embosses and allows you to check alignment with the labels.

IE6000 ensures that each product, regardless of label shape or type, complies with the required specifications, continuously monitoring the labeller and capper performance. In the event of drifts, the system sends timely alarms to avoid waste.

Thanks to rapid set-ups and format changes simplified by artificial intelligence, operator interventions are reduced to a minimum. IE6000 also stands out for its extreme compactness: HMI and Vision PC are integrated into the inspection module, forming a monobloc with minimal footprint.
