FAQ — BEVERAGE INSPECTION

It refers to the full set of technological solutions for quality and safety control of products and packaging along the entire production line, from the empty container to the full case. The goal is to ensure product compliance, protect brand reputation and safeguard the end consumer.

They are designed for beverage companies of any size, from small businesses to large multinationals. The main interlocutors are quality managers, production managers, plant managers and R&D managers who need to guarantee high quality standards while improving production efficiency.

Inspection solutions are designed for all major beverage categories: water, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits, milk, juices, oil, sauces, jams and spreadable creams.

Systems are compatible with all major packaging formats: glass (bottles and jars), metal (aluminum and tinplate cans,), plastic (PET and HDPE), multilayer cartons and liquid paperboard packaging (e.g., Tetra Brik®, Combibloc®, etc.) kegs, jugs, KEG, cases

Cap inspection systems cover all major closure types on the market: tethered caps, crown caps, twist off, sport caps, cork, mushroom, talog ®, ROPP, flat caps, pre-threaded plastic caps, Snap-on  and ensuring quality control and compliance for every format.

Systems are designed to inspect preforms, empty cans, empty bottles and empty jugs before filling, detecting structural defects and contamination that could compromise the quality of the final product.

Through dedicated inspection systems and technologies (high-frequency or X-ray) that verify the correct fill level inside each bottle or container, automatically rejecting products that do not comply with production specifications.

Through non-destructive in-line leak detection systems that inspect 100% of production, compatible with any type of container. Antares Vision Group provides a wide range of solutions for leak detection in beverage

Yes. Laser Spectroscopy technology is used for in-line measurement of gas concentration (O2, CO2, N2) in the headspace of the bottle and for micro-leak detection, ensuring pressure and vacuum control on closed containers.

Optical inspection systems perform a complete quality and compliance check on every type of label and code, including 2D codes and OCR, verifying presence, position, readability and accuracy of the information displayed.

Yes. Monobloc units are available combining X-Ray and weight control, or Metal Detector and weight control, with configurations tailored to different production capacities and formats. High-precision dynamic weighing is also available as a standalone solution.

It is an innovative automatic robotic system for product quality monitoring. In a single analysis, the platform simultaneously performs multiple non-destructive inspections, optimising both time and the completeness of quality control.

Yes. Non-destructive and non-invasive laboratory instruments are available for measuring total and partial pressure, vacuum and gas concentration in closed containers, supporting off-line quality control.

Yes. Antares Vision Group provides sensors and software to analyse data collected on the line, evaluate the performance of filling and capping machines and pinpoint the precise causes of inefficiency in production processes.
