Sentinel (VM0900)
Standalone module for in-line aggregation
Compact device designed to manage the infeed queue of serialized items upstream of bundling and case packing machines when:
- available space does not allow the installation of full layer inspection on such machines to perform aggregation, or items are serialized by third-party technology.
- The Sentinel station performs a scan of all items to verify their serialization status, the correctness and readability of data, before they enter the aggregation area. Rejection of single items avoids the need for full bundle or case rejection at a subsequent stage.
