Omnivision (VM1701)
Standalone module for traceability of round, square or rectangular bottles when managed as individual saleable units.
The Omnivision is an automatic standalone unit designed for aggregation of bottles. The labelled bottles are loaded on the infeed conveyor which carries them to the printing unit that provide to mark on the bottom, or on the top, with a dummy code. Then 4 cameras read the label while an additional camera check the dummy code and create an association between label and the code printed on the bottom (or on the top).
In case of no-good items intercepted, the automatic reject system separates them from the good ones.
This marriage code is then used for the aggregation process
- The station prints a unique “dummy” code on top or bottom of each bottle, then performs a 360-degree reading of the unoriented bottle surface for recognition of printed serialized data and code association (marriage)
- Dummy code is used for the following manual or automatic aggregation phases (bundling, case packing)
- Separator device to manage narrow products infeed
- Very stable product handling for high printing performance
- Optional topsert verification with dedicated camera: OCR/OCV, lot and expiry date
- Omnivision technology can also be implemented as an integration module on existing conveyors
