ANTARES VISION GROUP: LAUNCH OF “AV ELECTRONICS”, A NEW CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN ITALY IN SPECIALIZED ELECTRONICS FOR THE PACKAGING INDUSTRY
This new entity originates from the merger by incorporation of INGG. Vescovini into Tecnel
Antares Vision Group, a technological partner of excellence in digitalization and innovation for companies and institutions with a complete ecosystem of technologies to guarantee product quality (inspection systems and machines) and product traceability along the supply chain (from raw materials to production, from distribution to the consumer) through integrated data management, announces that the merger by incorporation of Ingg. Vescovini S.r.l. into Tecnel S.r.l. will have legal effect from 1 January 2023.
On completion of the merger, Tecnel S.r.l. will change its name to AV Electronics S.r.l., and the purpose of the company based in Parma, will be to design and supply customised electronic hardware and software both to support the innovative developments of Antares Vision Group’s technological ecosystem, mainly in quality control inspection and track & trace solutions, and to meet specific customer requirements in the packaging and packing sector through highly innovative electronics.
“AV Electronics encompasses the extraordinary expertise and the specific skills of these two entities, which have been operating in the market for a long time. Our objective is to continue to invest in technological development and to create a centre of excellence in specialised electronics able to boost the technological innovation process of any packing and packaging system manufacturer. Furthermore, considering the current shortage situation, AV Electronics could guarantee greater continuity in the supply of electronic components” stated Fabio Forestelli, CEO of FT System and Board Member of Antares Vision Group.
Tecnel, acquired by FT System in March 2021 and wholly controlled by Antares Vision Group, was founded by Roberto Allegri in the 80s and specialises in the creation of custom electronics for packaging and filling systems, the production of fully customised hardware and software devices, able to represent a valid alternative to traditional technologies constrained by certain operating systems, such as PC and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
Ingg. Vescovini Srl, acquired by FT System in August 2022 and wholly controlled by Antares Vision Group, was founded by Ing. Giorgio Vescovini at the end of the 60s, a business that was then continued from the 90s by Ing. Paolo Vescovini; based in Parma, it develops, designs and produces analogue and digital electronic boards, and dedicated software, fundamental components for checkweighers, weight dosing systems, inspection systems in the beverage sector, electromedical machines, and control systems in the agricultural and industrial sector.
