ANTARES VISION AT THE FRONT LINE IN THE COVID-19 EMERGENCY
Emidio Zorzella (CEO): “Ready to provide our technological expertise”

Travagliato (BS), 27 March 2020 – Antares Vision, a world leader in visual inspection systems for the quality control, in track & trace solutions for anti-counterfeiting and supply chain control, in smart data management, is willing to provide the Scientific Community and Institutions with its technological know-how during the Covid-19 emergency. The Italian multinational, in fact, has wholeheartedly and professionally committed to “Innova per l’Italia”, which was launched by the Ministry of Health, the Italian National Institute of Health and the World Health Organisation.

Antares Vision has always been engaged in designing cutting-edge hardware and software solutions for the most demanding industrial sectors, starting from the pharmaceutical one, able to guarantee the safety of products and consequently that of the citizens, and as never before it intends to provide its solutions to protect people’s health: from traceability to monitoring, from geolocation to tracing back contacts, up to the forecast of risks and trends to act promptly and to forestall an emergency.

An experience that has already been acknowledged at Institutional level, as evidenced by the recent appointment by MISE (Italian Ministry of Economic Development), which has financed the investments of companies in research and development projects of considerable technological impact. In this connection, Antares Vision has been commissioned to develop a traceability system for products in the food and wine supply chain from farming to the end consumer, based on the traceability technologies already in use in the pharmaceutical sector.

Or the Smart Ward Platform project for the “smart” revolution of many organisational aspects of hospital wards: thanks to the resources allocated by the Ministry of Economic Development for the “Digital Agenda” subsidised activities, Antares Vision has developed a smart platform capable of delivering innovative and high technology services to assure the wellbeing and safety of patients, thereby reducing the possibility of error in wards thanks to IOT technology (Internet Of Things).

“We are ready to give our contribution to face the health emergency that is disrupting the country,” said Emidio Zorzella, CEO of Antares Vision. We want to offer our skills and expertise in the field of traceability and visual inspection with computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies, for data analysis, so as to foster the prevention and control of the spread of Covid-19, in compliance with the principles of privacy, safety and ethics. We are at the service of the entire community.”
