COSMETICS: CONSUMERS NEED MORE TRANSPARENCY AND SAFETY. INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FROM ANTARES VISION GROUP FOR SUPPLY CHAIN TRACEABILITY AND DIGITALIZATION

The Group will be presenting its technological hardware and software solutions dedicated to a market that is constantly expanding at Cosmoprof 2025 (Bologna 20-22 March)

Travagliato (Brescia), 4 March 2025 – In 2024, the Italian cosmetics sector exceeded 16.5 billion in value, marking an increase of 9.2% against last year. A further rise of 6.9% is expected for 2025. A market that is continually developing, ready to take on new challenges: guaranteeing safety and authenticity to consumers who are increasingly aware of product quality and origins.

To meet these needs, Antares Vision Group, Italian multinational, leading provider in Track & Trace systems and quality control, will be presenting innovative solutions that enable the entire cosmetics supply chain to be safer, more digital and more efficient at Cosmoprof Worldwide 2025, the reference event for the industry, taking place in Bologna from 20 to 22 March. People are increasingly interested in knowing the composition of products, the sustainability of ingredients and their origins. The ability to offer detailed and verifiable information is becoming a distinguishing factor for brands, who have to meet these new requirements by using adequate tools.

With this in mind, Antares Vision Group has developed DIAMIND Connect, a platform through which each product is assigned a unique code, guaranteeing end-to-end traceability and ensuring authenticity and protection against counterfeiting. Thanks to this technology, companies can monitor each stage of the supply chain, reducing the risks linked to grey markets and parallel imports, guaranteeing consumers safe and certified products. DIAMIND Connect is a new application of DIAMIND, the integrated and modular ecosystem of solutions by Antares Vision Group, which is leading the way towards the digital transformation of supply chains and is part of the full range of traceability and quality control inspection solutions for the cosmetics sector.

DIAMIND Connect follows the way paved by GS1 with the “Sunrise 2027” initiative: within 2 years we will see a global transition from the classic barcode to GS1 standard QR codes, which can contain a large quantity of information on products, easily accessible from a smartphone.

The evolved growth of the Italian cosmetics industry originates from the synergy of the supply chain, from the trust of commercial partners and from investment in know-howthese are the words of Gianfranco Landolfi, General Manager LifeScience & Cosmetics of Antares Vision Group. This is why Cosmoprof 2025 is the ideal occasion for us to demonstrate how our innovations can be combined with the needs and the most impactful trends of a rapidly-changing market. We are therefore proud to be able to contribute to the digital transformation of the cosmetics sector, by offering technologies that can redefine market standards, guaranteeing quality, safety and transparency”.

At the Antares Vision Group stand (Hall 19, Stand C12/D11) visitors will be able to discover in person how these solutions work. Visitors can test the Track & Trace Demo, which enables unique codes for product traceability to be printed and checked, and the DIAMIND Connect Demo, which allows the intelligent digital management of the supply chain. Advanced quality control inspection systems, from labelling to fill levels, will also be available, which ensure quality and maximum compliance with sector standards, to protect the brand and the end consumer.

With its participation in Cosmopack, Antares Vision Group therefore reiterates it commitment to supporting the cosmetics industry with cutting-edge solutions for supply chain quality, safety and transparency. A focus on innovation that is also reflected by the renewal of its membership of the Polo della Cosmesi [Association of Cosmetics Companies], with which the Group consolidates its role as a strategic partner for companies in the industry. “We are proud to announce our renewed membership of the Polo della Cosmesi” said Gianfranco Landolfi, General Manager Life Science & Cosmetics of Antares Vision Group. Being a member of the association enables us to interact with a network of highly specialised businesses, encouraging the development of advanced and sustainable technologies. As a technological partner of the sector, Antares Vision Group provides advanced inspection, traceability and intelligent data management solutions, guaranteeing quality, safety and transparency throughout the cosmetics production chain.”
