Leak Detection for Flexible Containers – TB2000
The TB2000 system represents the high-performance solution for the accurate detection of micro-leaks in flexible and non-pressurized containers.
The machine performs 100% non-destructive inspection directly in-line and at maximum process speed, preventing market recalls and ensuring beverage integrity and shelf-life.
The system is based on “squeezer” technology: two flexible parallel belts exert calibrated compression on the sides of the container, allowing a direct-contact sensor to measure its rigidity precisely and completely independent of belt wear, position, or tension variations. The belt assembly operates entirely dry, eliminating costs related to the use of cooling water or industrial lubricants.
Depending on the product to be inspected, the TB2000 can be configured with 1 sensor (for products with constant structural rigidity) or 2 sensors (ideal for containers with variable rigidity), and a fill level control can be implemented (to compensate for the effect of content variations on container rigidity).
Featuring tool-free vertical height adjustment, the system offers a Fully Hygienic Design option to prevent bacterial contamination.
