RFID/NFC Tag Inspection and Serialization

Our solution is based on a high-reliability hardware architecture engineered for demanding industrial environments, seamlessly managing the complete radiofrequency system through fully synchronized components.

It all begins with controlled-field antennas: the antenna emits an electromagnetic field that energizes the RFID or NFC tag, typically applied on or concealed just beneath the product label. This excitation supplies the label’s microchip with the energy required to activate and transmit its stored code in response.

The response signals reabsorbed by the antenna are routed directly to the Control Unit—the true brain of the system. This electronic processing unit instantly interprets and decodes the incoming data, offering high operational flexibility and adapting to new production configurations without requiring hardware replacements.

The system offers three scalable inspection levels tailored to manufacturer requirements.

It starts with simple presence detection, acting as a quality control baseline to verify that every tag is active and functional.

A more advanced level enables product type identification: the code transmitted by the tag is decoded to extract product type information (GTIN code), preventing real-time batch mix-ups or packaging errors.

Finally, unit serialization represents the ultimate expression of traceability, extracting all tag data including the unique serial number of each individual bottle. This process turns every product into a comprehensive digital asset, enabling the integration of its full unit history—from manufacturing through the entire supply chain—into the database.

Collected data is indexed and securely saved for downstream processing, such as aggregation into secondary packaging (e.g., bundles, cartons, or pallets).

In addition to optimizing line efficiency and eliminating error risks, the tag reading system provides a robust defense against counterfeiting and parallel trade. For bottling companies, single-unit traceability translates into a clear competitive advantage, strengthening supply chain transparency and consumer trust.
