MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY: Revolutionary inspection is coming!

Microwave technology can detect physical contaminants that are currently unidentifiable with X-rays and metal detectors. An innovative operating principle based on dielectric contrast allows the identification of plastics, rubber, glass, insects and wood, as well as metals, thus making it possible to identify all those contaminants which today cause problems in the food and beverage industry.

The in-line leak inspection system designed by Antares Vision Group performs non-destructive checks on 100% of production, guaranteeing food safety and quality of the final product. The inspection system uses IR spectroscopy technology that detects, if there are holes or micro-holes on the packaging and/or seal, any CO2 leaking from the package without changing the line speed and/or internal composition of the modified atmosphere.

Compact solutions for small horizontal products, which integrate in a single monoblock checkweighing and X-ray inspection, with top-down scanning beam; ideal for unpackaged and packed products, such as flow-packs, boxes, bags, etc.

The compact solution does not consist of two separate units, one consequent to the other, but by a single system that incorporates both. The result: a single extremely efficient and easy to manage instrument thanks to a single operator interface, made with 15” color touch-screen panel.

A revolutionary inspection that detects foreign bodies not detectable with current technologies such as X-rays or metal detectors. The control is based on microwave technology that, by the dielectric contrast, detects glass, low-density plastic, wood, stones, bones, etc., as well as metal, reducing the risk of product withdrawals or recalls with consequent economic damage for companies

LASER SPECTROSCOPY APPLICATION TO GUARANTEE JUICE’S SHELF LIFE AND QUALITY

Laser spectroscopy is used on juice to measure the gas concentration and pressure in closed bottles. The technology is non-destructive e non-invasive, and it helps monitor the quality during production, reduces waste, and decreases the number of quality checks in the lab. The laser spectroscopy works by using a unique property of certain molecules in the gas to absorb light at specific wavelengths. This allows for fast and precise measurements. Overall, this innovative application guarantees the juice’s shelf life and quality.
